A Powerful Session with Michael Scott: Insights and Commitment to Combating Antisemitism
This week, The 2023 Foundation’s founder, Michael Scott, CSC, GAICD, delivered an impactful session with JNF Australia, sharing insights from his distinguished 30-year career in the Australian Army, including recent experiences in the Middle East with the United Nations. His reflections, rooted in his extensive military experience and commitment to peacekeeping in the Levant, resonated deeply with the audience, further strengthening his dedication to addressing antisemitism through The 2023 Foundation.
During the session, Michael highlighted the critical need for continued dialogue and action in combatting the rise of antisemitism and fostering peaceful coexistence in these troubling times. His firsthand experiences in Jerusalem, where he served as Head of Military for the UN Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO) from 2019 to 2021, reinforced his belief in the power of understanding, cooperation, and education as tools for change. Michael’s presence and insights are invaluable as we continue our mission to combat hatred and build a better future for all.
The session was a poignant reminder of the importance of unity and action. Michael’s message of resilience and hope was received with great appreciation, further solidifying the foundation's commitment to making a lasting impact. We are grateful for the ongoing support from JNF Australia and the community.
