Upcoming Thematic Visits
Veterans
A veterans group will honour the legacy of ANZAC forces by participating in a solemn Dawn Service at the Commonwealth War Graves in Jerusalem. This moving ceremony will pay tribute to the Australian soldiers who served in the region during World War I, reflecting on their sacrifices and the enduring bonds between these nations and the Middle East. June 2025: Australian LGBTIQ+ Participation in Tel Aviv Pride
In June 2025, an Australian LGBTIQ+ group will join one of the world’s most vibrant celebrations of diversity and inclusion at the Tel Aviv Pride March. This event, set against the backdrop of Tel Aviv’s lively streets, is more than a parade; it’s a testament to resilience, advocacy, and community spirit. Participants will not only experience the festivities but also connect with local activists and organizations, exploring the challenges and triumphs of LGBTIQ+ rights in Israel and beyond.
September 2025: Christian-Zionist Themed Events
In September 2025, Christian communities—including Maronite, Coptic, and Western traditions—will gather for a series of events focused on the deep connections between Christian faith and the land of Israel. These events will explore the region’s historical and spiritual heritage. Pilgrimages to key biblical sites, discussions with religious scholars, and interfaith dialogue sessions will provide a rich tapestry of experiences. Participants will reflect on their faith while deepening their understanding of the shared values and enduring ties between Christian and Zionist communities.
September 2025: Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the “Start-Up Nation”
